According to an announcement from Subaru of America, the new 2025 Forester model will be available in five grades. The price of “Base” grade is 29,695 US dollars and from 31,995 US dollars to $33,195 US dollars for “Premium” grade.

In addition, “Sports” grade ranges from $34,495 to $36,195, and “Limited” ranges from $35,995 to $37,595. “Touring” grade model will be the highest and will cost $39,995. There will be a shipping fee of $1,395 in addition to the model prices to users in North America.

The 2025 Forester Wilderness, which will be exclusive to North America, will be sold together as it is based on the previous 5th generation model (current model in Japan). The price of this grade ranges from $34,920 to $36,770.

It is undeniable that the price has increased compared to the 5th generation model. Behind this stands the adoption of new technologies such as the Subaru Global Platform + Full Inner Frame structure, which increases torsional rigidity by 10% compared to the previous model, as well as the new generation EyeSight.

The North American model’s powertrain is a 2.5L horizontally opposed 4-cylinder DOHC with a maximum output of 180ps, and the release date is announced to be late spring 2024. Production will take place at the Gunma factory in Japan.

The overall exterior design maintains the Forester’s classic, rugged SUV proportions, while the front section has been significantly revised. The look is distinct from previous Subaru SUVs, and a new design taste has been incorporated.

The interior is quieter and more comfortable thanks to more sound-absorbing materials, more robust welding technology, and the addition of a structural adhesive that reduces noise attenuation from the roof panel by 39%.

The latest version of EyeSight, standard on the new 2025 Forester, is designed to operate more smoothly and quickly in a wider range of conditions. The field of view has been expanded, the control software has been updated, and an electric brake booster has been added.

Also, for the first time in previous Forester models, when Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control is activated and an unresponsive driver is detected, Emergency Stop Assist is activated to bring the vehicle to a halt.
