One of the East Coast’s largest motorsports festivals, ‘HyperFest,’ is returning to Virginia International Speedway from Friday, May 17, to Sunday, May 19.
Over the past 20 years, HyperFest has been designed to bring together automotive enthusiasts from all walks of life in one place. Held at Virginia International Speedway’s 1300-acre venue, it offers a wide range of experiences for all car fans.
“It’s like an automotive amusement park with everything you could want,” said Virginia International Speedway Marketing Director Mike Rose. “Whether you want to come with your kids or join Club Hyperfest and enjoy some music.”
Experiences include drifting, tuner cars, burnout competitions, road racing, off-road racing, Barbie car racing, bounce houses, kids zones, and much more for everyone to enjoy. In addition to activities, vendors, and merchandise from major racing companies like Monster will be on-site.

Guests can also participate in the high-powered action! Bring your own vehicle to join in drifting or the off-road section of the festival, or opt for a ride-along with a professional driver, offering everyone the choice of how involved they want to be.
“We encourage people to come out and camp, bring your own cooler, lawn chair, and enjoy the festival your way,” said Rose. “Explore it and have a great time doing it your way.”
Tickets are still available for single-day and three-day passes. Single-day tickets are $85, and three-day passes are $120. Children 12 and under are free, and Virginia International Speedway is offering discounted tickets for active and veteran military members.
